Enjoy French drinking culture at a.kitchen + a.bar Friday evening as we serve up a varied selection of Glou-Glou wines. Loosely translated, glou glou means “glug-glug,” a reference to the easy drink-ability of these wines. It is rapidly becoming a movement in France and abroad. Glou Glou wines tend to be lighter reds and whites, lower in tannin for reds and lower in alcohol, but still high in acidity and minerality. It all combines into a wine that is natural and representative of its terrior but also insanely enjoyable to drink. Come cheers with us in this celebration of unpretentious and definitely not stuffy wine.
